ClickAthlon: the triathlon manager

You create your athlete, train them day by day, and compete with players from all over the world in swimming, cycling, running, and combined events. New season every month.

A manager, not a reflex game

In ClickAthlon you do not run: you train someone who runs. You choose what to work on each day, decide when to push and when to rest, and the result shows up in the standings at the end of the event. It is a game of repeated decisions, not reflexes.

Each season lasts one calendar month. You train, race your time trials, play the division league, and fight to move up in the rankings in your country and in the world. At the end of the month, titles are awarded and another season starts from a clean competitive slate.

Seven attributes and 59 events

Your athlete has seven things that improve through training: swimming, cycling, running, strength, agility, speed, and endurance. They are not decorative bars: each event requires a different mix, and an athlete built for the 50 free cannot handle a long-distance triathlon.

There are 59 official events, from the 50 free to long distance, including marathon, cross-country, duathlon, aquathlon, swimrun, aquabike, and cross disciplines. Each one with its world record and your country’s record.

Time trials run on their own

This is the mechanic that makes it manageable: you start them, close the app, and come back for the result. They run in real time, so the game moves forward while you do something else. You do not need to stay in front of it or spend half an hour in a session.

League, clubs, and Pro Series

The Youth League is divided into tiers, with a daily matchday, promotions, and relegations. On top of that there are events with prizes and a schedule that changes every day.

Clubs are the social side: you create your own or join one, donate, raise its prestige, and compete together in club events. And from level 25 onward, the Pro Series opens up, with its own energy and its own ranking.

Rounding out the game are equipment, supplements, facility upgrades, and personal coaches — everything a manager expects to be able to control.

In 18 languages, with translated chat

The game is available in 18 languages and the chat translates on the phone itself, so you can talk to people from any country without leaving the conversation. There are also friends and private messages.

The game that came back

ClickAthlon was released and died when Amazon shut down GameSparks, the service its server depended on. We rewrote it completely and natively: iPhone and iPad in Swift, Android in Kotlin, and our own server on which — unlike the original — the numbers are calculated by the server, not the phone.

Along the way, we fixed what broke the original game: veteran players were accumulating an impossible-to-catch advantage. Now training keeps increasing without limit, but what enters competition is capped, so everyone competes equally at the starting line. Veterans are compensated with history, records, titles, and more training options: variety, not power.

Free, with ads

It is free to play. There are ads, you can buy gold and tickets, and there is a monthly supporter subscription that removes advertising and gives some advantages. None of that is required to play or compete: the competitive cap applies equally to everyone.
